Did you know that many communities in Haiti are struggling with water insecurity? Access to safe drinking water is a basic human right, but sadly, it's a luxury that many Haitians can't afford.
Clean water is essential for anyone to survive. Many people in Haiti are faced with the challenge of finding potable water. Our current initiative is to purchase a pump and irrigation system to water the 12 acres of farmland. This endeavor will cost ~$5,000. This will allow a sustainable source for the continued healthy growth of vegetables and livestock. Additionally, installing this water filtration system will help ensure that communities have essential food and livestock access to a safe source of water.
We believe that we are called by God to help those in need and to serve others. Scripture teaches, "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done" (Proverbs 19:17). We can not do it alone. Your generosity will not go unnoticed; it will be felt by all of the families this pump and irrigation system will serve.
