The Betty Haynie Preparatory School is a ministry birthed from the desire to educate and train children in Ghana. A public-school educator for many years in Central Florida, it is easy to see how her passion for children would extend globally to Africa. As missionary for over four decades, her travels have allowed her to see how illiteracy can affect an entire village. This school has been able to educate hundreds of disadvantaged children that would not have such educational opportunities.
Our strategic partnership will assist in securing trained teachers and the construction of a new educational facility. Students also receive a nutritional meal that, in some cases, is there only for that day. A majority of these students do not have the financial ability to purchase their school uniforms or books needed for their educational enhancement. We can make a difference with our generous giving.
