Global Initiatives

 

Kent Michael Shaw Ministries is a global organization with a vision-focused initiative to reach and impact the nations with the ministry of Christ.

 

In 1989 Kent’s involvement with world missions began in Port-au-Prince and Les Caye, Haiti. This short-term mission trip would forever change his life and trajectory for ministry. In the last 33 years, he has ministered in 15 countries throughout the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa. His initiatives have reached thousands of people with humanitarian aid, medical assistance, evangelistic outreach, as well as theological education.  

We are passionate about the gospel and reaching people with the transformational message of Jesus. This includes offering support to orphanages in Haiti, West Africa, and Southern Africa. In these areas, we have taken a vital role in educating and providing school fees for many students through elementary and high schools that otherwise would not have this privilege. Other essential areas of ministry include our pop-up medical clinics with licensed medical staff that provide assessments and the prescription of medicines.

The Life Center Community Church, where Kent serves as Lead Pastor, modeled what a missional church embodies. They have been an indispensable partner in donating thousands of dollars, sending several members on short-term mission trips, and praying daily for mission workers worldwide.

 

The gospel is at the center of what we do. Teaching others that Christ is here to meet their everyday needs. This encapsulates the physical, mental, material, and spiritual concerns of humanity.
