Education
Dr. Kent attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Biblical Studies from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He also holds an M.A. degree in Practical Theology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Kent earned a Ph.D. from Columbia International University in Intercultural Studies. He has combined the practical application of ministry and the theological education of the academy to train church leaders in over 16 countries. His research interests include Missions Theology, World Christianity, African Theology, Pentecostal Theology, and the contributions of the 19th-century African-American Missionary.
